Working with ELMA RPA Designer requires:
- operating system: MS Windows 8 or higher;
- CPU: 2 cores, 3Ghz or higher;
- RAM: 2 Gb;
- Hard disk: at least 5 Gb space on system disk;
- Additional software: .NET Core SDK 3.1.4 and Desktop Runtime 3.1.4 (as a distribution kit part).
The installation process consists of several steps.
Step 1. Select the setup language.
Step 2. Read the license agreement. If you accept all its terms, check the box I accept the agreement. Please note that you can continue only if you accept the agreement terms.
Step 3. Select the installation folder.
We recommend using the default folder. If you need to change it, click the Browse… button and select a different folder on your computer.
Step 4. Select the start menu folder for placing the shortcuts.
Step 5. Specify if you need a program desktop shortcut.
Step 6. Check the installation parameters you have set. If you need to make changes, return to the required step, and change the parameters. To start the installation, click the Install button.
Step 7. The ELMA RPA Designer setup wizard copies the required files to your PC. The installation process may take some time, please wait until it finishes.
Step 8. After the installation is finished, you will see a window containing helpful information, including the user guide and links to information resources.
Step 9. This step displays information about the results of the ELMA RPA Designer installation.
If you do not have .NET Core SDK installed on your PC, check the boxes to download them. If you want to open the quick start page, check the corresponding box. Click the Finish button. The .NET Core SDK setup wizard will be run. Follow its instructions.

To make sure that the installation was successful, run the ELMA RPA Bot from the desktop shortcut or using the ElmaDesigner_win64.exe executable file, which is located in the folder specified during installation.
After launching you will see the ELMA RPA Designer home page.
